The team specialises in challenging contractual, competition, boardroom and joint venture disputes and is increasingly known for its strategic and level-headed approach to parallel proceedings - a worst case scenario for any client. We're recognised experts in this area, having won commercial litigation team of the year at the Legal Business Awards, Litigation Team of the Year at the Lawyer Awards and Banking Litigation Team of the Year at the Legal Week Commercial Litigation & Arbitration Awards in 2019.

The role:

We are seeking to recruit an associate or supervising associate for our London office. You will join the highly successful Litigation & Arbitration team in London and will be afforded the opportunity to work on high value and often high-profile work consisting of a mix of financial markets and commercial litigation and arbitration, typically with an international element.

We are looking for an associate with ideally between 2-5 years' PQE in litigation. You will also work with other partners and associates across other offices, in particular the Bristol team, as part of a collegiate and supportive international group.

Person specification:

  • Excellent academics;
  • Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team;
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required;
  • Applicants should have trained and qualified with a leading firm or at the Bar with 2-5 years' post-qualification experience;
  • Experience in and enthusiasm for complex, high value disputes is essential for this role.
