As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and know- how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from Competition Lawyers who are interested in full time and ad-hoc legal consultancy positions.

This role would suit a Competition lawyer trained with a top tier legal institution with upwards of 3 years PQE, legal consultants of any level experienced are invited to apply.

  • Qualified lawyer with strong Competition experience
  • Training from a top tier law firm
  • Motivated and self-starting - the ability to work autonomously
  • Quick thinking and detail driven
  • Good communication skills are crucial
  • Organised and proactive in your approach

Overview of the Simmons Competition practice:

With experience working on some of the largest cartel investigations and merger control matters in Europe, our practice has the expertise to act on the most complex of cases.

Our teams in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK collaborate closely on national and European-wide matters. We also represent clients directly before the courts in competition infringement and State aid cases. Working with our internal e-discovery team, we can process the vast quantities of data in such cases with ease and efficiency.

We work in lean, hands-on teams, so that our clients have direct access to the partners and associates on their case. The advice we give is practical, conclusive, and built on a thorough understanding of your business and the wider market.
