A Senior-level Banking & Finance / Capital Markets / Regulatory Lawyer

Your Role:

You will

  • advise major financial institutions and funds and provide legal solutions in both capital markets and banking work (from a transactional perspective). be involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating varied types of contracts and legal documents in a broad range of transactional and advisory work covering:
    • Debt capital markets;
    • Bank lending, structured finance;
    • Securitisation:
    • Real estate and fund financings;
    • Green finance related matters.
  • advise banks and other professionals of the financial sectors on specific financial regulatory matters;
  • lead, manage and mentor junior lawyers;
  • take part in internal and external presentations and be involved in legal publications;
  • conduct and coordinate legal research;
  • participate in client meetings and build strong relationships with clients.

Your Profile:

  • Graduate from university in Law, a strong knowledge of Luxembourg law would be an asset;
  • Successful first experience of at least 4 years in the Banking, Finance and/or Capital Markets department of a Luxembourg law firm or in a similar working environment;
  • Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar;
  • Fluent in English and French; German and Luxembourgish are an asset but not a pre-requisite;
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills, ability to provide practical guidance on complex topics;
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to produce commercially astute advice.
