Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for a financial services regulatory consultant, who is available for an interim client assignment for 6 -12 months.

This role will cover aspects of financial regulatory work with a focus on MIFID, regulators activity orders, Brexit and ESG for investment products and services.

This role has a customer and retail focus so previous wealth or private bank experience is highly desired.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified solicitor, with training from a top tier practice.
  • You will have previous financial services regulatory experience within the retail banking sector and be able to get involved in complex regulatory matters.
  • You have knowledge of MIFID, UCITS and AIFMD and European legislative processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • You will have ESG experience in respect to both investment products and services.
  • You will have a strong working knowledge and experience of handling regulators activity orders.
  • You are collaborative and have excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
  • This role requires a high degree of client service orientation and responsiveness.
