Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive is currently searching
for Payments/Retail Banking Lawyers, available for an interim
This role will cover the following:
Working on account based queries, account
terms and conditions and payment services products.
Providing legal support to internal bank
projects including supporting business and regulatory transformation
and representing Legal on relevant working groups and Committees.
Providing support on matters related to CCA
Providing support on strategic business
objectives including digital innovation and transformation projects.
Supporting on legal function transformation
such as off/ on-shoring of lower level activity, preparing
playbooks, self-help guides and F&Q and supporting on setting up
You are a qualified Solicitor with over 7
years' PQE with in-house experience in a large financial institution.
You must have Payment Services Regulations
experience and CCA experience would be an advantage.
You are able to work autonomously, handle
management responsibilities and be confident in attending steering
committees, governance and interacting with senior level stakeholders.
Ideally you will have a broad range of
commercial/project/ regulatory experience.
You have the ability to prioritise and work
directly with the Business.
