The role:

To design and deliver an IT training service to users of the firm's IT systems.

What will you do:

• Deliver IT induction training to new starters, as well as upskilling training via classroom, one-to-one, webinar, workshops and e-learning methods.
• Plan and organise training events based on training needs analysis.
• Create, design and maintain training materials for the successful delivery of IT training programmes.
• Participate in IT projects that have a training requirement.
• Provide ad-hoc training support to users via Teams/ email.
• Learn, test and monitor new system updates and changes.
• Assist in identifying future learning needs within the business.
• Effectively maintain training records and materials within TutorPro, our LMS.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing technologies in use and learn new systems or improvements to current software as required.

What we are looking for:

Education / qualifications / experience
• Previous experience of delivering technology-based training within a legal or corporate environment.
• Experience delivering technology training via webinar and classroom.
• Experience developing training materials such as guides, training videos and eLearning content.
• Desirable: Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Word/Excel/PPT/Outlook.
• Desirable: Hold an appropriate trainer qualification or be working towards one eg COLF, MCT, TAP
• Desirable: experience using Captivate and/or Camtasia.

Knowledge and technical skills:
• An understanding of the training lifecycle and people's learning styles.
• Proven IT skills and experience of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new software and technologies.
• Desirable: Knowledge of legal-based applications eg InTapp Time, iManage, Dynamics AX, Contract Companion, Brochet Paste etc
