A Senior Capital Markets Lawyer

Your Role:

  • Providing legal advice and being involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of contracts and legal documents in a broad range of transactional and advisory work;
  • Managing and coordinating major aspects of a vast range of debt capital markets transactions including bond issuances, securitisations and other international financing transactions;
  • Assisting clients on complex structured finance transactions involving numerous participants and jurisdictions;
  • Drafting and negotiating finance documentation, demonstrating familiarity with the latest trends, precedents and market standards;
  • Leading, managing and mentoring junior lawyers;
  • Taking part in internal and external presentations and being involved in legal publications;
  • Conducting and coordinating legal research;
  • Participating in client meetings and building strong relationships with clients.

Your Profile:

  • Graduate from university in Law;
  • Experience in a Finance and/or Capital Markets department of a Luxembourg law firm;
  • Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar;
  • Fluent in English and French; German and Luxembourgish are an asset but not a pre-requisite;
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills, ability to provide practical guidance on complex topics;
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to produce commercially astute advice.
