Mid/Senior Banking Lawyer (m/f) - Permanent full time position

Your Role:

  • Advising major financial institutions and funds and provide legal solutions banking work (from a transactional perspective);
  • Being involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating varied types of contracts and legal documents in a broad range of transactional and advisory work covering: Debt capital, markets; Bank lending, structured finance; Securitisation; Real estate and fund financings; Green finance related matters;
  • Interacting continuously to understand deals and projects, define and scope work, advise on resourcing options and pricing and manage expectations
  • Leading, managing and mentoring junior lawyers;
  • Taking part in internal and external presentations and being involved in legal publications;
  • Conducting and coordinating legal research;
  • Participating in client meetings and building strong relationships with clients.

Your Profile:

  • Graduate from university in Law;
  • Experience in a Banking and/or Finance department of a Luxembourg law firm;
  • Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar;
  • Fluent in English and French; German and Luxembourgish are an asset but not a pre-requisite;
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills, ability to provide practical guidance on complex topics;
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to produce commercially astute advice.
