Description

The role:

To assist the Head of Talent Management in designing, project managing and rolling out the firm's international training academy programme through a variety of learning interventions; creating content and delivering where appropriate; building relationships (both internal and external) and working closely with all members of the L&D team; training academy SteerCo and working groups; as well as the wider HR team.

We will consider candidates in either our Bristol or London office.

What will you do:

  • Work closely with L&D team and training academy Working Groups to design and deliver global, innovative learning interventions and course materials across all Learning Streams. This role will project manage the early stages of the programme creation.
  • Build brand of the global training academy and ensure consistency of brand and communications across all Learning Streams by working closely with Working Group Leads and SteerCo.
  • Build good relationships with global client groups and global HR teams to understand the needs of all staff (fee earners and business services) incorporating this information into the design of workshops and learning interventions.
  • Facilitate in-house sessions personally as well as train/coach Partners to deliver/facilitate with impact where required.
  • Ensure international scope of all training academy content with virtual delivery / online resources.
  • Design the method of evaluation for the training academy so that return on investment can be measured following implementation.
  • Work closely with the L&D team to ensure training academy content sits appropriately within context of wider L&D strategy and milestone programmes.
  • Assist with other L&D programmes / ad hoc activity as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a similar L&D role in a professional services firm.
  • Excellent, established training and facilitation skills, with particular emphasis on virtual delivery.
  • Creative approach to design and delivery of sessions and implementing learning solutions, including non-classroom and online/virtual based learning (where appropriate).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well ability to engage an audience (especially in a virtual world).
  • Applying an international mindset when developing learning solutions.
  • Commercial and innovative focus in approach to development solutions.
  • IT literate with experience of Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent academics.
  • Commercially driven.
  • Able to develop professional relationships and build business through diverse networks.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
