The role:

This is a project based role, working within a HR Operations team to support the implementation of a new global HR system.

This is a graduate entry role, which will provide a foundation to a range of core HR processes and activities over the course of the project and is expected to lead to a specialist role either within the HR operations team or in one of the other HR centres of expertise.

We will consider candidates to be based in either our Bristol or London office.

What will you do:

Provide support for the global HR system implementation project which is likely to include the following activities:

  • Supporting the project planning phase and contributing to the development of the implementation project plan.
  • Involvement with data cleanse and data consistency updates within the current HR system, AX Dynamics .
  • Liaising with HR teams and external consultants/implementation partners to define and document system requirements.
  • Supporting HR teams with process mapping and process improvement work in preparation for the system implementation.
  • Involvement in the implementation phase of the project, which may include data preparation and migration, system testing, coordination with HR and implementation partners to resolve issues etc.
  • Supporting change management and communication activities including drafting communication materials, delivering user training, responding to system queries etc.
  • Provide ongoing project co-ordination support for specific project streams, including arranging meetings, documenting meeting outcomes, following up on outstanding actions etc.

It will also be necessary for this role to provide support for legacy systems relating to the specific HR work streams during the period before the new HR system goes live.

What we are looking for:

Education / qualifications / experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT skills, Advanced MS Office skills - in particular Excel.
  • Knowledge of databases and reporting tools.

Knowledge and technical skills:

  • IT literate with the willingness and ability to learn new software packages quickly.
  • Adaptable and able to prioritise their own work, can do attitude to resolving issues.

General skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills, in particular listening and adapting communication style to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders (particularly important when dealing with International colleagues).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills and able to effectively prioritise competing work demands/requests.
