Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for a Private Banking Legal Consultant available for an interim assignment.

This role will cover all aspects of banking law, including but not limited to;

  • Drafting and reviewing client facing and third party documentation such as loan and security documents.
  • Liaising with the Private Banking businesses, external counsel and other infrastructure functions such as credit risk, credit operations and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Private Bank legal team, the Private Bank businesses and other infrastructure functions to assist with the development of new products; and
  • Provide input to new and existing policies and procedures to ensure that any changes to processes are within the permitted legal and regulatory framework.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified Solicitor with training from a top tier law firm.
  • You have significant post-qualification experience working on a range of banking matters.
  • You may have in-house experience and ideally a background working within financial institutions.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team, whilst working in a remote capacity.
