Description
Simmons & Simmons' highly successful Real Estate team is looking
for a new Paralegal in Bristol.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Providing general administrative support to fee-earners including
drafting, reviewing and proof-reading legal documents
Providing support in relation to Land Registry applications and
property searches and analysing, collating and summarising the
relevant documents and information
Researching points of law and other factual issues and preparing
reports on the same
Collating, organising, uploading and managing documents in
DealRoom and any other online dataroom service
Education / qualifications / experience:
Law graduate with a first or upper second class degree or equivalent.
Previous paralegal experience or other relevant legal work experience
Preferably Real Estate experience and understanding of real estate tasks
Experience using legal research databases (preferred)
Knowledge and technical skills:
Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
and Excel
Previous legal database experience
General Skills/Attributes:
Highly organised and methodical approach to the role as well as
confidence with IT systems
Attention to detail and the confidence to work independently
Willingness to travel to London as required
Highly motivated and commercially astute
Excellent communication skills and a collegiate, team-based attitude
The ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high
level of accuracy
Self-motivated, hardworking, reliable and works well under pressure
