Simmons & Simmons Adaptive:

Clients today need flexible resourcing solutions to meet the changing demands of the marketplace. In response to this, we launched Simmons Adaptive ("Adaptive") in London in October 2014, Hong Kong in 2022 and we are soon to launch Singapore.

Adaptive is the firm's flexible resourcing solution designed to strengthen client relationships by providing a solution that meets both the needs of the firm and our clients. Through Adaptive, we provide additional value to our clients by extending the current services we already provide through a trusted network of external lawyers who are vetted, mentored, and supported by us.

As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for experienced lawyers available for interim assignments.

We are especially keen to hear from lawyers who have experience in the following areas:

• Financial Services Regulatory: FS regulatory requirements and reform e.g. knowledge and experience on projects relating to IBOR..
• Capital Markets: derivatives and structured products, debt and equity capital markets and securitisation.
• Employment: common law experience in a wide range of employment, employee relations, compliance, and regulatory matters
• Commercial: general commercial, outsourcing, and commercial IT contracts.
• Litigation and Dispute Resolution: general commercial litigation, banking and finance litigation, regulatory investigations.

Person specification:

• You are a qualified lawyer with top tier training, with at least two years' post qualification experience.
• You will be motivated and self-starting and have the ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team.
• You are quick thinking and detail driven.
• You will be pro-active and process driven.
