Description

We are looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Manager (m/f/d) for our office in Dusseldorf as soon as possible.

The role:

The Diversity & Inclusion Manager will work within the global Diversity & Inclusion team. And alongside the HR team in Germany. Reporting to the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, this role supports the delivery of the firm's global D&I strategy. The Manager will be responsible for delivering internal and external D&I initiatives and producing external award submissions, benchmarking and reporting. This role is also responsible for driving forward local D&I initiatives and events across the firm's three offices in Germany.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the global D&I team in developing and delivering the firm's D&I strategy by contributing expert advice and co-ordinating D&I programmes and projects aligned to the firm's priorities.
  • Responsible for producing D&I award submissions, external benchmarking and reporting.
  • Supporting initiatives that drive D&I supplier engagement and partnering initiatives including annual D&I supplier audit and roundtable event. Builds and maintains relationships with key D&I contacts, community partners, external organisations and formal bodies to understand emerging D&I issues.
  • Supports Global Head of D&I to develop and deliver training materials to build knowledge, awareness and understanding of diversity issues.
  • Co-leads the annual diversity monitoring process and provides analysis of the firm's demographics.
  • Liaises with the firm's diversity network groups on planning, resourcing and implementing initiatives.
  • Supports the Charitable Foundation application process and liaises with internal and external stakeholders and charitable organisations.
  • Plan and deliver internal and external CR & Diversity events.
  • Working with the HR team in Germany to establish the firm's employer brand, ensuring that this is communicated effectively both internally and externally and is aligned to key D&I priorities.

What we are looking for - Personal and technical skills:

  • Education - Bachelor or Master degree.
  • At least 3 years' relevant CR & Diversity experience, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of best practice relating to Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Able to communicate effectively and confidently and adapt communications styles to different audiences.
  • An ability to work well under pressure, anticipates issues and works to strict deadlines.
  • Possesses a client-centred 'can-do' attitude
  • Uses initiative, thinks creatively, recommends meaningful changes and has good problem solving skills.
  • Is able to work effectively as part of a team and on one's own.
  • Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and willingness to use software packages that are unfamiliar.
  • Fluent english and german skills
