The HR Assistant will be aligned to the Reward & Benefits Manager, but also work closely with the wider HR team.

Our Opportunity

You will be involved at every step along the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and induction, through to the departure process. You will work closely with HR Assistants in other locations and will therefore provide cover when required.

This position will play a key role in supporting this busy department with tasks such as processing starters, leavers and employment changes, absence tracking and managing our central HR inbox and phone line. Due to the busy and proactive nature of this team, you will begin building lasting relationships with our employees and colleagues from the outset, so you must have good interpersonal skills and be eager to be a valued part of a team.

We recognise hard work and commitment; and in return, we will give you the opportunity to develop and gain valuable experience from across our HR offering.

You

You will have at least 6 months experience working in a HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar position, ideally within a large multi-site organisation. Experience of working with a HR database is essential. You will also be experienced in using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

You will be used to working in a busy environment where you have to deal with multiple competing demands and tight deadlines. You will have the ability to organise, communicate effectively and work on your own initiative, whilst knowing when to seek guidance and supervision. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, which will allow you to work well within this team.
