Are you looking to develop your business development experience in a

Coordinator to join our global Business Development & Marketing
team, to be based in any of our UK regional offices.
You'll need to be self-motivated with excellent communication skills
and a demonstrable understanding of marketing, business and client
development practices. Experience in a similar role is desirable and
an understanding of the legal environment would certainly be
beneficial to the role.
Our Firm
Squire Patton Boggs is one of the world's strongest integrated law
firms, committed to providing insight at the point where law, business
and government meet. We deliver commercially focused business
solutions to a diverse mix of clients, from long-established leading
corporations to emerging businesses, start-up visionaries and
sovereign nations.
With over 1,500 lawyers spanning more than 40 offices across four
continents, the firm is renowned for its local connections and global
influence, delivering comprehensive legal services across North
America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. In
the UK, we have offices in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and London.
The firm is committed to promoting an inclusive and supportive
working environment. Embedded by local champions in each of our UK
offices, our well-regarded family and carer, wellbeing and DEI
programmes provide a variety of flexible working options to support
individuals' life journeys, helping our people pursue their personal
and professional goals.
Our Team
Our global Business Development and Marketing team includes over 65
colleagues working together to provide frontline support and advice at
a practice, industry and office level - much of the work being
collaborative and international in nature.
Our Opportunity
Reporting into one of our Business Development Directors, the core
focus for this role is to support our Corporate and Private Equity
practices, working with key stakeholders in the groups to support
business growth objectives, identify target opportunities, develop and
coordinate business development plans, and work with related teams to
grow the firm's business base.
Our Corporate team is thriving, and has grown significantly in recent
years. This is a great opportunity to work with key clients in an
exciting area of the business, and play a role in high profile
pitches. You'll work alongside senior members of the team, both in the
UK and globally, to hone your BD skills, and will have the opportunity
to work with our newly-opened offices in Dublin and Amsterdam as they
continue on their growth journey.
This role is varied and will require you to perform other ad-hoc
duties and responsibilities as assigned. You will also be travelling
to other UK offices, dependent on operational needs. You will be
supported in your role by the resources of our events, marketing,
communications and bids teams as well as the wider international team.
You
Due to the varied and busy nature of this role, you must have the
drive to focus on a number of different projects and ensure that all
deadlines are met so project management skills are essential. You will
need to be a dynamic, creative and determined individual who can use
their own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
A demonstrable understanding of marketing and client development
principles are a must. This role can be busy and therefore a
professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure is
critical. You will ideally have experience working within a
professional services organisation.
A CIM qualification would be desirable and you would preferably have
3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
