Our practice presents the opportunity to work with a variety of
renowned partners on a broad spread of matters across sectors
including Retail, Finance, FMCG, Media and Advertising, Manufacturing,
and Engineering.
Our Opportunity
This is a very exciting time to join us - you will have the
opportunity to collaborate with teams from our extensive international
platform, working on exciting cross-jurisdictional matters, as well as
giving more locally-based advice. This really is a superb role to
build your career by bringing an entrepreneurial energy to work on
challenging matters with some of the most highly regarded and
forward-thinking lawyers in the country.
This team has seen sustained revenue growth over past years, with
increasing significant and complex mandates combined with strong
demand from clients globally. The practice also continues to innovate
as it extends into the tech space. As a result, we recognise the need
to invest in talent and are keen to continue to build and grow our
Associate team.
From day one, you will advise on a wide range of projects, including
drafting global policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance
issues, restructures and redundancies, and changes to terms and
conditions. We recognise the fundamental importance of excellent
client service as it is what differentiates us from our competition.
You
You'll be a qualified lawyer (ideally with between 1 and 2 years'
PQE). You will demonstrate a strong interest in employment issues and
should have excellent academic credentials.
Solid matter management is a must, as is ambition, self-motivation
and both the desire and the ability to deliver high-quality work and
act on your own initiative. You will thrive in a collaborative team
environment, be intellectually curious and enjoy resolving challenging
legal issues. You should expect lots of client contact, and a
rewarding and challenging career path - all of which come with a role
in this team at Squire Patton Boggs.
