The Columbus office of Squire Patton Boggs is hiring an Executive
Legal Secretary supporting our Public and Infrastructure
Financepractice group. The hours for this position are Monday through
Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Primary responsibilities include:
Prepare, revise and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Schedule appointments, travel arrangements, conferences and client meetings
Prepare expense and disbursement forms for reimbursement or payment
Maintain assignment calendars
Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and packages
Answer telephones and relay messages appropriately
Prepare timesheets and review client bills
Maintain client and administrative files in accordance with firm
procedures, including within the document management system
Exercise independent judgment when prioritizing work assignments
Perform other executive administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or
technical school
Minimum 3 years of legal support experience, preferably in a law
firm or, equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word including knowledge of how to
convert, clean, and style documents
Expert knowledge of other software including Microsoft Outlook,
Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting/billing software
Must have strong communication and organizational skills
Overtime flexibility is necessary
