We are seeking a Corporate Bid Manager to join our global bid team.
You will be responsible for providing bid support to the Corporate
Practice across UK and EMEA and be a key part of the Corporate
Business Development team. Whilst this opportunity is based in the UK
(out of either our Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds office), you'll
collaborate closely with other members of the global bid team globally.

Our Team
Our global Business Development and Marketing team work together to
provide frontline business development support and advice at a
practice, industry and office level - much of the work being
collaborative and international in nature. You will be joining a
global bid team of seven, reporting to the UK Senior Bid Manager. You
will work closely with the Corporate BD Director and wider Corporate
BD team in the UK.
Our Opportunity
The Corporate Bid Manager will utilise best practices and related
tools to prepare responses to proposal requests, capability statements
develop other materials to assist the Corporate Practice Group's
business development, retention and expansion efforts. You will
principally work on client and target opportunities leading on
completing qualification questionnaires, feeding into pitches,
creating bespoke capability statements and helping with keeping best
practice pitch materials and resources up to date including standard
firm information.
Working as a key part of the global bid team, you will also be
responsible for helping to drive best practice, maintain the firm's
pitch databank, providing appropriate training for lawyers, tracking
and reporting, as well as contributing to and implementing the
firmwide bid strategy.

You
To be successful, you will be educated to degree level and will have
3-4 years bid experience in a similar role, ideally within legal
services or other professional services organisations. Knowledge and
experience in bid management/bid documentation production and best
practice is essential, and pitch coaching and training experience is
desirable. You will also need to possess strong project management
skills alongside strong MS Office skills - Word, PowerPoint and Excel
is essential.
You will need to be a dynamic, creative and determined individual who
can use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team. You
will have excellent written and oral skills with keen attention
detail. This role is busy and demanding and therefore a professional
"can do" attitude and the ability to work under pressure is critical.
Flexibility required with regards to hours and travel to other UK offices.
