Our Team
Our global Business Development & Marketing team
work together to provide frontline business development support and
advice at a practice, industry and office level - much of the work
being collaborative and international in nature.
You'll be reporting into the Business Development
Director and will work closely with the wider UK-based Business
Development & Marketing team. You will provide a full range of
on-going administrative activities for the London office, as well as
supporting other strategic growth practices or BD-related projects
in the UK.
Our Opportunity
In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the
same. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to develop
their administrative and marketing skills within a legal office environment.
You will help to coordinate and collaborate London
office initiatives with wider UK offices, practices and sectors.
This will involve working with the London Office Manager Partner and
coordinating with the Business Development Director to define and
execute business growth objectives, identify target opportunities,
develop and coordinate business development plans, and work with
related teams to grow the firm's business base.
You will provide support in preparing responses to
domestic and cross-border requests for information, requests for
proposals, and other pitches, proposals, capability statements and
client-facing materials for new or expanded business.
You will also be responsible for updating and
maintaining the team's databases, as well as supporting the BD
Managers on their day-to-day BD and marketing support needs
(updating materials, pitch support, mailing lists etc). You will
monitor office BD budgets, generate BD budget codes, and monitor spend.
You
As this is a varied role, you'll need to be a creative,
dynamic and determined individual with critical attention to detail
and excellent communication skills (verbal and written). You'll be a
team player, with a professional attitude, and have the drive and
ability to focus on a number of different projects to ensure that
all deadlines are met. This is a busy role so the ability to work
under pressure is important.
You will have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role,
ideally within a professional services organisation. You will have
strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and social media
channel skills. An understanding of marketing, business and client
development principles, activities and tools would be beneficial.
Flexibility regarding hours and travelling to other UK
offices is required.
