This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative and determined individual with a positive approach to working on a range of digital marketing tasks. You'll have a good understanding of basic web and multimedia technologies, and ideally some relevant experience, but more importantly an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Our Team

Our global Business Development and Marketing team includes over 65 colleagues working together to provide frontline BD support and advice at a practice, industry and office level - much of the work being collaborative and international in nature. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager, and forms part of the firm's wider Business Development & Marketing team.

Our Opportunity

Working within the Digital Marketing function, as well as the wider Business Development & Marketing team, you will be responsible for helping to grow the online and digital presence of our successful firm.

You will be assisting with content management of the website, ensuring it is kept accurate and up to date as well as ensuring that email campaigns are created and distributed in a timely and targeted manner. You will also be responsible for supporting with online event management, as well as working with online video/audio content, and various other digital initiatives.

This is a busy and all-encompassing role, perfect for a junior digital media assistant to gain a wide range of experience in a professional services law firm. The role will be largely working within our e-marketing platform with aspects of managing the website and other digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of the firm website.
  • Work closely with our content team to optimise all marketing content for organic search.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of our marketing materials promoting the firm's brand and communicating legal updates and event opportunities to targeted audiences.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of email templates and assist with the delivery of these communications to external clients through the firm's email marketing platform.
  • Assist with the management of data in accordance with GDPR and other data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the set-up of event registration forms and distribution of event related communications to targeted audiences.
  • Assist with the management of the firm's network of blogs.
  • Assist with the management of firm photography for both internal and external use.
  • Assist with the distribution and marketing of audio/visual campaigns.
  • Provide reporting support for our marketing initiatives.

You

  • Educated to degree level or an appropriate equivalent (preferable but not essential)
  • Preferably have web content management and multimedia experience in a similar role.
  • Be competent in using MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Have a good understanding of basic web technologies, CMS platforms, content optimisation and experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, coupled with some knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Have a professional attitude and be able to work under pressure.
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills and an ability to work with a considerable amount of complex and detailed information.
  • Be able to display dynamism, creativity and determination and will have excellent organisational and attention to detail skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility with regards to hours and travel to other offices, dependent on operational needs.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
