We have an opportunity for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to join our
team, managing the US law school recruiting (OCI) and components of
the US summer associate program. The Legal Recruiting Coordinator
works in collaboration with Office Administrators, Legal Personnel,
and the US hiring Chair to plan, prepare, coordinate and deliver a
successful OCI and summer program. This role also supports legal
recruiting efforts in our Columbus office and in other US offices as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Law School Recruitment
Develops and implements recruiting strategies at target law schools.
Drives efforts to increase firm visibility at target law schools.
Develops and fosters law school career services relationships.
Works with hiring partners and office/practice leadership to
ensure transparency and approvals are in place relating to the
number of summer associates to be recruited for each office.
Manages law school recruitment and the On-Campus Interview (OCI)
process, in accordance with the firm's annual timetable and agreed processes.
Coordinates the registration with US schools, collaborates with
the local offices on these efforts.
Develops supporting print and website content about the firm's
summer program.
Summer Associate Program
Ensure the US HR and office teams have the required information
for on-boarding purposes.
Works in collaboration with the Learning and Development team to
create, plan and prepare for the summer associate academy.
Manages the work allocation and evaluation processes including
creating the evaluation process in viGlobal, training users,
developing learning materials and providing support for system questions.
Legal Recruiting
Assists with legal recruiting efforts in Columbus and other offices
as needed. Duties include scheduling interviews, collecting feedback,
and updating the firm's recruitment system.
Our Requirements
We require a bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of two
years prior experience with OCI and summer programs. Superior
proficiency in MS Word and Excel required. Must be comfortable
developing and working with multiple and complex worksheets.
Experience with viRecruit a plus.
