Department - The Knowledge Management Team

The Knowledge Management Team has the following ambitions which are relevant to this new role:

Support for our lawyers: In line with our drive for collaboration, to foster a knowledge-sharing culture across the firm, and to ensure we have the platforms and processes in place to harness and provide ready access to knowhow from both internal and external sources which (i) supports technical excellence and in-depth market knowledge in our lawyers and (ii) drives profitability through enabling our lawyers to work as efficiently as possible.

Support for our clients: To use our knowledge to add value to our client relationships in collaboration with our fee-earning lawyers, the BD & Marketing team and the clients themselves, ensuring our range of added-value services is aligned with the clients' needs and the firm's strategy, including developing ways to use technology to enhance service to our clients.

The Role

The primary role of the Firmwide Knowledge Lawyer/Knowledge Manager will be to help the KM team to promote a knowledge-sharing culture and to work with our lawyers and the firm's KL team in developing, collating and coordinating our knowledge on a range of legal topics or issues which are of interest or application across practice areas, and to assist in the dissemination of such knowledge internally and in the development and promotion of our knowledge offering to clients and others externally.
