The opportunity

Our Brand Management team is seeking a Trade Mark & Cost Quote Administrator to join this growing practice area. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the areas of the job description listed below.

What you'll do

  • Prepare cost quotes to clients under the supervision of more senior members of the team.
  • Support the preparation of bid proposals.
  • Collect fee tariffs from global agents and record them on to the database accurately. Work with various database & document management system etc.
  • Maintain the databases in relation to global agent network, fee schedules and quotes and files up to date.
  • Review global agent disbursement invoices against their agreed tariffs and quotes.
  • Review incoming correspondence to identify key information, statutory deadlines, timetables for future activity/requirements and other docketing details and updating IP software database accordingly.
  • Support trademark projects including portfolio on-boarding, including review of IP portfolios, data creation and data verification for critical fields and deadlines.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

About you

  • Work experience in a professional environment essential
  • Good working knowledge of Excel including creating formula combinations.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and calculations.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Able to manage competing demands and work well under pressure.
  • Good communication skills essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as confidence in working in a team-based environment as
  • Work experience in Intellectual Property particularly in Trade Marks.
  • An ability to build strong working relationships, both internally and externally, where applicable.
