Description

As a Social Media Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our firm-wide social media channels. Collaborating with colleagues across our global network, your mission will be to create and share compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Requests to share content come in from across the firm, your task is to elevate and amplify our brand by enhancing the quality of our posts and to grow our social media audiences. From looking for content aimed at promoting our firm-wide culture, to assisting with specific social media campaigns and promoted posts that align with our firm-wide strategic goals, we want you to help us stay ahead of the pack.

You will be part of a supportive team with training to build your skills and confidence and you'll be encouraged to keep up with social media channel trends so we can inspire, advise, and innovate across the business.

You'll be joining the firm at a really exciting time, with a brand-new firm strategy guiding us, and our external facing brand in the spotlight, we want you to be a part of the journey too.

You'll be joining our Central Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team who work in partnership with senior stakeholders across the firm to set the strategy and shape the tactics to build our firm's profile, win new work and strengthen and deepen client relationships.

The team is mostly based in London and is made up of over 60 specialists in marketing communications, business development and client service. As a central team we lead global activities while working closely with our network of MBD colleagues based across our international offices. Whether it's driving a new content strategy, pitching for cutting-edge work, building our brand, or contributing to the development of our client relationships, we're committed to providing exceptional service to the firm and are known for leading the way when it comes to new technology and solutions. Energetic, creative, and global in our approach, we're looking for people who have a passion for MBD and are keen to take a fresh approach.

What you'll do

You'll be helping to shape and manage our firm-wide social media channels and working with colleagues from across our global network to create and share engaging content. You will also measure and report on our channel and content performance.

We mostly use LinkedIn and Twitter and have a presence on Instagram that we would like to improve. We are also open to further exploring our presence on other platforms, as we continue to assess growing social media trends.

We are also focusing on boosting our individual's social media presence too. You'll be helping to support our lawyers with adoption of their social media channels and boosting of their personal brands.

The main objectives of the role:

  • The day-to-day management of our firm-wide LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram accounts:
  • Scheduling, editing and proof-reading content
  • Using our brand templates and visual style and sourcing imagery and/or creating on-brand graphics using InDesign and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Supporting others to run sector, practice group and country specific accounts
  • Helping to shape and deliver organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Preparing social media data reports, analysing our digital channel activity and performance
  • Taking an active interest in emerging best social media practice, highlighting when this has changed, as well as proactively investigating new functions and social platforms and highlighting these as appropriate.
  • Helping to promote and monitor adherence to the firm's social media policy and escalating breaches of the policy.
  • Giving comprehensive training to our international MBD colleagues on the platforms we use across social media
  • Supporting our lawyers and assisting them in effectively adopting their social media channels and strengthening their personal brands.

Your technical skills

  • Experience of using of LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram for business
  • Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills with excellent written English
  • Good understanding of social media analytics
  • Strong use of Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel for reporting and analysing statistics.
  • Experience of InDesign and the Adobe Suite
  • Experience of Percolate our Social Media templating and scheduling platform

The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above; however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department. The role may require some working outside our normal working hours of 9:30am- 5:30pm.
