The opportunity

We're looking to recruit an Intellectual Property (IP) associate with 2 to 5 years' experience. Join our team in Brussels, and make you mark as part of the industry-leading international IP group of Bird & Bird.

The team in Brussels

By working with us you will be able to develop formidable experience in this field, within a top-ranked team of practitioners who enjoy working together to protect and foster innovation.

You'll play an active role in keeping our team at the top of its game by bringing fresh ideas and contributing to our initiatives and providing the best possible legal advice and assistance to our clients.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • An excellent command of English and Dutch, plus a good command of French;
  • A Belgian law degree, with strong academic Additional studies abroad are an asset;
  • Prior experience in an IP-focused organisation or firm is an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to provide clear, precise and practical advice that helps clients in their day-to-day business;
  • A real passion for innovation and technology;
  • The ability to work as a true team player, fitting in well with our open, entrepreneurial culture; and
  • A strong appetite for business development activities .
